Sunday NBA Picks

It is said that we are supposed to rest on the Sabbath. Well, whoever said that clearly had never experienced the thrill of sweating out spreads on a classic NBA Sunday. As a fat friend of mine once said, it’s time to get into the nitty-gritty.

LA Lakers -3.5 vs. Chicago.

  • There’s not much to be said here. The Lakers are on an absolute heater and will probrably win every game by double digits the rest of the way. Add on Patrick Beverly saying he’s here to put an end to LakeShow dominance and you can guarantee he’ll fall short on that. Moral of the story: always fade Pat Bev.

BKN Nets +1.5 at Orlando.

  • I don’t even understand this line. Is it because Seth Curry is out? I doubt it, considering he’s Seth Curry and the Magic will also be without Jalen Sucks and Franz Wagner. The Nets do not suck even after trading KD and Kyrie. Orlando should be trying their hardest to lose this game anyways. The Wembanyama tank-a-thon is on and that’s not a race you want to fall behind in. Throw in the damn towel.

MEM Grizzlies -2 at Atlanta.

  • I know Ja Morant isn’t exactly the most popular guy right now. Despite his troubling strip club addiction, he’s still quite good at basketball. If he can make it rain on the court as much as he does on the poles, this game won’t even be close. He’ll give Trae Young a lap dance when his nuts are in his face after a huge slam. I don’t care about the road factor, I’m pretty sure Atlanta hates the Hawks more than their opponents at this point. Hammer the Grizz while everyone hates them.

This is my weekly rendition of “Who wants to be a millionare.” I’ve basically never lost a bet this season if you only count my wins. Let’s have a Sunday and make some muthafuckin moneyyyyyyyyyy,
